User Guide

SubSift can be used by non-technical users through the online demonstrations accessible from the Demos link on the left. However, to build entirely new applications using SubSift requires software development skills and the information contained in the following Developer Guide documentation.

Developer Guide

API Methods SubSift has a web services Application Programming Interface (API) which allows the functionality of SubSift to be incorporated into other software. The SubSift API follows the design principles of Representational State Transfer (REST). Detailed reference documentation of all the SubSift API methods is available from the API link on the left, or from the following link.

Documentation on how to use the API is available from the following links.

Web service API methods can be composed into workflows to solve specific problems, for example, the submission sifting workflow.

Further examples of workflows are given in this FGCS paper.
